Here are two awesome Superhero warmups: Sock wrestlingPut on a pair of fresh socks and find a partner, it's time for a classic sock wrestling match. The rules are easy: face your opponent on your hands and knees, you can't stand up, wrestle your opponent and pull their socks off while making sure that your socks stay on... You are victorious when you manage to pull both of your opponents socks off. sumo wrestlingBefore you start your sumo match make sure that you have a big open space so you won't bump into anything. Start in the middle of the space and mark off a line 5-6 feet behind you and another line 5-6 feet behind your partner. Start off in a low sumo stance and shake hands with your opponent. Have a referee signal to start the match. When the whistle goes, get low and try to push your opponent past the line behind them. You win the match if: your opponent backs up and steps past the line and if your opponent falls or touches the floor with anything besides the bottom of their feet. Play best of three. Queen/King of the matThis game is super fun and can get a little rowdy so make sure that you clear the area to keep everyone safe. All you need is a clear floor and a mat. If you don't have a mat you can use a rug, blanket, cushions or a mattress placed on the floor. You can play this game with 2 or more players. Everyone piles on the mat and wrestles to get everyone else off of the mat. Last person on the mat wins. dog & bone (aka royal rumble!)For this game you will need 2 or more people and a ball. The ball is placed in the middle of the playing area and opponents lay facing each other on opposite sides of the room. On the signal, two people race to the ball while on their hands and knees. If you manage to wrestle the ball back to your side you score a point. (No standing up, knees only and you cannot throw the ball) Play best of 10. At the end of 10 rounds we like to have a grand finale! We call out ROYAL RUMBLE and everyone goes in after the ball. Have fun! Hennick vs sandberg 2019... looking for a re-match in 2021!
